Carboxymethylcellulose refers to sodium carboxymethyl cellulose, an anionic surface active agent. CMC product is white or yellow powder ( particle ), non-toxic, tasteless, soluble in acids and methanol, ethanol, diethyl ether, acetone, chloroform agent organic solvents such as benzene, easy to dissolve in water and has certain viscosity.
